🚀 New Feature

New UI for Case Status Transition Rules

Building on the Case Status improvements introduced in 4.1.1, we created a new UI for Case Status Transitions, making it easier for users to define rules for how cases are added to workflows and how evidence is handled when added to closed cases.

Evidence Unassigned Days Calculation

Added a new Evidence Unassigned Days Calculation setting, allowing administrators to determine how unassigned days are calculated:

  • From Case Request Date
  • From Evidence Creation Date
  • Both

When configured to Both, evidence dashboards display both values when the case request date and evidence creation date differ, providing greater visibility into evidence aging metrics.

By default, this setting is configured to From Evidence Creation Date.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Lab Request Submission Manager

  • Fixed an issue where cases added to a workflow did not receive the default case permissions.
  • If Auto-CID is enabled in Settings, it will now be applied automatically.
  • Fixed an issue where changes made in the Rich Text Editor for the Lab Submission Receipt were not reloaded properly.
  • Fixed an issue where editing the Lab Submission Receipt did not open the editing sidebar.

Reports

  • Fixed an issue where hours were missing from the Memo section of reports.
  • Fixed an issue where Rich Text fields were not displaying in reports.
  • Fixed an issue where reports printed an empty upload page even when Print Empty Pages was set to No.

AutoCID

  • Fixed an issue where the EID was generated using the incorrect CID token when AutoCID was enabled.

Assets

  • Resolved an issue where assets already assigned to a grant could incorrectly appear in the available asset selection list when editing grant assignments. Previously assigned assets are now excluded from the Assign Assets list to prevent duplicate assignments.

Active Directory

  • Resolved an issue that could cause an error when disabling users authenticated through Active Directory.

Audit Log

  • Fixed an issue where the audit log table could be cut off on smaller screens.

ICAC Stats

  • Fixed an issue where ICAC Stats displayed the total number of evidence items incorrectly.

UI

  • Fixed an issue that could cause multiple license expiration warnings to be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where search results would close when clicked.

Case Manager

  • Fixed an issue where clicking a status first could prevent users from interacting with other areas of the Case Manager page.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking Download Stacked or Download Flat resulted in an error.

New Evidence

  • Fixed an issue where the New Evidence form attempted to submit when the Show Additional Fields
